Jaclyn is currently working remotely at Automattic focusing on the WooCommerce iOS app, based in Taipei, Taiwan. Before Automattic, she was building learning tools at Quizlet, focusing on iOS platforms. Originally from Taiwan - born in Taipei, grew up in Taichung, and studied electrical engineering at National Taiwan University in Taipei. Later she moved to the Bay Area for graduate school at Stanford University, and started working two years after her Masters program.

She lives in Taipei, Taiwan, and spends a month in the US every year. She enjoys biking, hiking, traveling and taking photos of food and travels. Last international trips were Italy, Singapore and Japan, and the next one is probably somewhere in Japan to practice her Japanese.
